Your AI Email Guide: https://www.30mpc.com/course/cold-email-course Most reps use the same signals and get ignored. Brendan Short shows how to find timing signals no one else can see and turn them into outbound that actually gets responses. 🎙️ ACTIONABLE TAKEAWAYS: 1. Use hyper-specific signals tied to real pain, not generic triggers like funding or new hires. 2. Timing beats messaging, reaching out when pain exists matters more than perfect copy. 3. Stack multiple signals together to increase relevance and response rates. 4. Lead with value in outreach, give something useful before asking for a meeting These Courses Will Get You to President’s Club: 🏋 30MPC Training: 30mpc.com/training ☎️ Cold Call Course: https://bit.ly/4jqQ4w2 📧 Cold Email Course: http://bit.ly/44K6jy3 🔮 Discovery Course: https://bit.ly/4cQYaM8 💰 Exec Selling Course: https://bit.ly/4lCtJh7 👥 Leadership Course: https://bit.ly/4o8KtMT 🛠️ Free Toolkits: http://bit.ly/4nZwvO5 Get More Tactics: 30MPC Cold Calling Guide – https://www.30mpc.com/newsletter/the-ultimate-30mpc-cold-calling-framework Join our weekly newsletter – https://hubs.li/Q02NJQ8p0 Things you can steal and use today – https://linktr.ee/30mpc_youtube

  1. So I wanna start on the point of signals. For most salespeople, when you talk about signals, what comes to mind for them are the things that pretty much everyone is trying to feast off of. Just raised funding, new executive started, big product launch, and pretty much everyone is targeting those signals and so you kind of get lost in the noise when those things happen. You are an advocate for these like really, really, really, really niche and nuanced signals. And so I'm wondering if we're gonna probably reverse engineer how to find these for yourself,

  2. So a job description. Anybody can access that. You can come up with a creative, thoughtful idea there. But something that's even better is what is a first party data piece of data or signal that only I have access to. So for PLG companies, that's obviously people signing up for the product at a company. It's marketing content. It's people on your website. It's people engaging with content online that your companies put out, et cetera. Definitely, in my opinion, the right way to do it. And again, like I would say, even a few years ago, like the call to action in an outreach email was like, do you want to spend 30 minutes with me on a demo? I generally just say, say anything but that in the last line of your email.

  4. the subject line would be like 13 reps at Okta or something, like something very specific. I like the, I forget who says this, but it's like make the subject line look like a internal email. I mean, at the end of the day, like you need to get them to see the email, open the email. What is the first line of the, it's like the subject line gets them to read the first preview line of the email. The preview line gets them to open the email and read the whole thing. I usually am like connection point, pain, gain, call to action, or offer. That's like the framework generally that I use. And again, I think people spend not as much time as they should on the call to action or the offer.
