parts to a great email. So the first part's the subject line. We're going to cover that in the next section, but what's really important is that we do not talk about our product. We don't do any type of pitching. The number one goal of the subject line is to drive an open. The second part of the email is relevance. So the very first line of the email needs to open with something “about the buyer that shows that you're reaching out on purpose.” the problem. The problem answers this question, why change? It's the thing that will compel the buyer to take action. The next part of the email is the value and social proof. If there's anything that they hope to achieve that's really easy to drop, that would be recognizable, we can do that as well. We wanna resist talking about our solution. And last but not least, “capitalization matters.” What we've noticed is that all lowercase subject lines tend to have the highest open rates, followed by sentence, case, capitalization. So capitalizing the first letter of the first word. What does not work as well as capitalizing the first letter of every word in the subject line. Because again, that is not how buyers
And then aspirations. If there's anything that they hope to achieve that's really easy to drop, that would be recognizable, we can do that as well. We wanna resist talking about our solution. And last but not least, before we go into the frameworks, capitalization matters. What we've noticed is that all lowercase subject lines “tend to have the highest open rates,” followed by sentence, case, capitalization. So capitalizing the first letter of the first word. What does not work as well as capitalizing the first letter of every word in the subject line. Because again, that is not how buyers will typically write emails to people that they know. All right, so let me give you seven subject line formulas
