What this wiki covers
Outbound Wiki is a reference work on outbound sales: prospecting, calling, emailing, follow-up and the tools behind them. Our team keeps the map of topics this wiki covers and the list of podcasts, blogs and video channels it follows.
Each topic has a page of its own, and the topics sit in areas you can open from anywhere on the site. An article answers the question its topic asks, with the evidence for the answer in view.
Where the material comes from
Every article is built from sources quoted word for word: podcast episodes, videos, articles, newsletters and documents. Each quote carries the place it came from, the minute and second in a recording or the page in a PDF, and a sentence that rests on a quote carries a numbered reference to it. Names, figures and positions are never filled in beyond what the source says. Every source has a page of its own here, with each quote taken from it.
Authors
Every article is published under the name of one of our authors. They are listed on the authors page, and each name opens the articles that carry it.
How articles change
Articles are revised as sources are added, and the earlier versions are kept. The date under an article's summary is the last time the article changed on this site.
What an editor can change
An editor can take an article down, put an earlier version back, reject a source, move an article to another author or remove a topic from the wiki's map.
Advertising
The panels headed "Tool for this" are paid placements, and their links are marked as sponsored. Everything outside those panels is written from the quoted sources alone, and no advertiser chooses the topics, the sources or the wording.
Corrections
If a quote is wrong, a link is broken or a page says something its source does not, write to [email protected] with the address of the page. Security reports go to the same address.
