Description
FOUR ACTIONABLE TAKEAWAYS Eat the frog by committing to prospecting first thing in the morning. Handle objections differently with a ledge (ledge > disrupt statement > ask). Handle ‘existing solution’ objections by offering value to keep the other guys honest. Get past gatekeepers with respect, giving specific value, and providing social proof. What I make sure I always do is I have no less than an hour worth of dialing. I'm just ramping up my Connect and Sell now, but on average I think I've been doing over 5,000 dials a month in my first several months getting set up. You get distracted. You get pulled into different things, especially if you're a full-cycle rep. “If you're not blocking those times, you're not going to execute on them.” Most often, that first block of every hour, I'm definitely getting in. I'm even doing this pandemic prospecting challenge. I'm always getting those in in the morning. Then the latter parts of the day, depending on what gets scheduled and how things move around in my calendar, I'm going to find another session to get to my follow-ups, more high-value prospecting activities.
