do a certification that doesn't allow you to actually be good at what you're trying to do, and it creates a robotic, non-responsive way of doing something that can hurt. And however you set the role play up, it's never going to be quite right. So if you're going to do certification, “you should do it internally. Once they're good enough internally, then they should provide” external proof that they can do the thing that you're asking them to do at the level of mastery, which I consider to be 80% the way that we show people how to do things. So that's how I would think about certifications, is they're not certified until they can do it in the wild, and make sure that they're not practicing on customers.
